A new spintronics device with noninteger coding for information storage and processing
Alexander A.Tulub
A new spintronics device with noninteger coding for information storage and processing is proposed. The device is constructed of paired trinucleotide sequences wound around the carbon nanotubes. The noninteger coding, working with a base of natural logarithm e, assumes operation with e-bits and e-bytes. These bits and bytes arise automatically in paired nucleotide sequences with strong spin-orbit and hyperfine coupling. The electron motion along the curved chains of trinucleotides (SpinHall Effect upon a laser excitation), e-bits, change their spin polarization. Signals are read out as phase shifts between the changed and unchanged spin orientations. The device is highly speedy and principallymay operate at 100 GHz or higher.
