The paper applies documents literature, based on mathematical statistics knowledge, utilizes comparative analysis and othermethods,makes research on Chinese participant performances in previous OlympicWinter Games and Sochi Olympic Winter Games, and compares it with European and American winter sports powersÂÂ’OlympicWinter Games performance, and puts emphasis on researching Chinese snow events. Result shows: World winter sports overall pattern hasnÂÂ’t yet greatly been changed, China is strong in ice events but it still is weak in snow events, winter sports development in China is extremely imbalanced.
