Design and analysis of a small scale horizontal axis wind turbine usingMartDes software

This paper describes todesign and analysis of a small scale horizontal axis wind turbine by applying MarTDes Software for the part of solution of long term world‘s energy problem. A short overview about wind energy applications are explained with a basic analysis of energy. This report also includes some evaluations and discussions of wind energy systems in the following pages.Additionally, total cost of turbine and some benefits such as amount of generating electricity are calculated. The general purpose of the research is to find and analyze howefficiently smallwind turbine works and generate energy at optimum conditions.
