Microwave-assisted synthesis of pyrazole and thiadiazine derivatives containing indole

Substituted indole aldehydes were condensed with substituted acetophenones in presence of base afforded the substituted indole-3- chalcones. These compounds on reaction with substituted hydrazide yielded the title compounds. The compounds were synthesized by conventional and microwave irradiation methods. The reaction rate is enhanced tremendously under microwave irradiation as compared to conventional method. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by their analytical and spectral data.
