Ammonium metavanadate (NH4VO3) is an inexpensive, efficient and mild catalyst for the three-component condensation reaction of aldehydes, â- ketoester and urea/thiourea. Thismethod offers several advantages including relatively short reaction times, solvent-free,easywork-up procedure and good to high yields of product
