Micro-determination of isoxsuprine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical formulations and urine samples

A newmethod was given for the determination of Isoxsuprine drug in pure solutions, in pharmaceutical formulations and urine samples using atomic emission and atomic absorption spectrometry. Ion – associate complexes of Isoxsuprine hydrochloride with [zink(II), cobalt(II) thiocyanate], potassium ferricyanide and ammonium reineckate were precipitated and the excess unreacted metal complex was determined. The drug can be determined by the affortmethod in the range 0.36 - 54.25 ìgmL-1.
